Page 1 — the challenge: your child is the cashier for 6 customers — lemonade, cookies, sandwiches, and more. For each one, they count up from the price to what the customer paid, and write the change. It teaches the one trick that makes change click: start at the price, count up by 25¢, 50¢, or $1.
Page 2 — the play money: cut-out bills and coins (fives, ones, quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies) — enough to physically count out every answer. Plus a grown-ups-only answer key, printed upside down.
Loved being the cashier? The Lunch Rush pack ($5) takes it further: kids run the whole lemonade stand — making change, adding up orders, and writing receipts across 11 pages.
